How tin mail away I,that daughter standing there,
اُس لڑکی کی موجودگی میں،میں کیسے
My attending fix اپنی توجہ مرکوز کر سکتا ہوں
On Roman or on Russian روم، روس
Or on Castilian Politics? یا سپین کی سیاست پر
Yet in that place 's a travelled human that knows اگرچہ وہاں ایک سیاحتی آدمی جو جانتا ہے
What he talks about, جِس کے بارے میں وہ بات کرتا ہے
And in that place 's a politician اور وہاں ایک سیاستدان بھی ہے
That has read together with thought, جو بُہت پڑھا لکھا ہے
And may endure what they is true اور ہو سکتا ہے جو یہ سب لوگ کہہ رہے ہوں وہ سچ ہو
Of country of war together with country of war s' alarms, جنگ اور جنگ کے خطرات کے بارے میں
But O that I were immature again لیکن کاش میں دوبارہ جوان ہو جاؤں
And held her inwards my arms! اور وہاں کھڑی ہوئی لڑکی کو اپنے بازؤں میں تھام لوں
