I sit down inwards the transcend of the wood,my eyes closed,

Between my hooked caput together with hooked feet:

کہ میں نے کیسے اپنے شکار کو اپنی چونچ اور پاؤں میں جکڑنا ہے

Or inwards slumber rehearse perfect kills together with eat.

میں جب سو بھی رہا ہوتا ہوں تو میں مشق کرتا ہوں اپنے شکار کو مارنے اور اُسے کھانے کی

Behold her,single inwards the field,

اُس کو دیکھو وہ کھیت میں تنہا

Yon solitary Highland lass,

وہ دور کھڑی پہاڑی لڑکی

فصل کاٹ رہی ہے اور ساتھ گیت بھی گا رہی ہے
