I sit down inwards the transcend of the wood,my eyes closed,

میں بند آنکھوں کے ساتھ درختوں کی اُونچی شاخوں پر بیٹھتا ہوں

Inaction,no falsifying dream

جب میں غیر مُتحرک ہوتا ہوں تو میں غلط منصوبہ بندی نہیں کرتا ہوں

Between my hooked caput together with hooked feet:

کہ میں نے کیسے اپنے شکار کو اپنی چونچ اور پاؤں میں جکڑنا ہے

Or inwards slumber rehearse perfect kills together with eat.

میں جب سو بھی رہا ہوتا ہوں تو میں مشق کرتا ہوں اپنے شکار کو مارنے اور اُسے کھانے کی

The convenience of the high trees;

یہ اُونچے درخت مُجھے سہولت فراہم کرتے ہیں

The air s' buoyancy together with the Sun s' ray

ہوا کی قوتِ پیراک اور سورج کی شعائیں

Are an payoff to me;

یہ سب مُجھے فائدہ دیتی ہیں

And the earth s' appear upward for my inspection.

زمین کا چہرہ میرے معائنے کے لیے اُوپر کی طرف ہے

My feet are locked upon the fossil oil bark,

میرے پاؤں درخت کی کھردری چھال کے اوپر جم جاتے ہیں

It took the whole of creation

اور پوری مخلوق میں سے کوئی بھی

To hit my foot,my each feather;

میرے پاؤں اور پروں سے کوئی چیز چھڑوا نہیں سکتی

Now I jibe Creation inwards my foot.

اور تمام مخلوق میرے تابع ہے

Or wing up,and revolve it all slowly--

یا جب میں اُڑتا ہوں اور آہستگی سے گردش کرتا ہوں

I kill where I delight because it is all mine.

میں جِس کو چاہوں جب چاہوں مار دوں

There is no sophistry inwards my body:

میرے اندر رحم نہیں ہے

My manners are fierce of heads--

چیرنا پھاڑنا ہی میری اخلاقیات ہے

The allocation of death.

میں موت تقسیم کرتا ہوں

For the ane path of my flying is direct

میری پرواز اور حملہ کا ایک طریقہ یہ بھی ہے کہ

Through the bones of the living.

میں جانداروں کو اُن کی ہڈیوں سے پکڑ لیتا ہوں

No declaration assert my right:

اور کوئی بھی میرے سے میرا یہ حق چھین نہیں سکتا

The Sun is behind me.

سورج میری پُشت میں ہے

Nothing has changed since I began.

اور جب سے میں ہوں کُچھ بھی نہیں بدلا

My oculus has permitted no change,

اور میں نے بدلاو کی اجازت بھی نہیں دی

I am going to snuff it on things similar this.

اور چیزوں کو ایسے ھی چلاتا رہوں گا۔
